where there is no path and leave a trail.

After graduation: SMCC till 1966, drafted into US Army '66-'68, spent most of the tour at Ft. Sam Houston, San Antonio, trained as a medical specialist, did mostly administrative and artistic work, enrolled at Cal State LA in '68 in Music, vocal performance, continued graduate studies for several years, career change in 1980, stayed in LA area till move to Seattle in '97, commuted by air to work in Palm Desert 2001-2006. Wife and I retired 2010, moved to Corpus Christi, Tx till 7/13 when we moved back to the NW for family reasons, living/laughing/loving in Florence, Oregon since 7/13. Hope to stay in our place till we are wheeled off to the rest homes a few blocks away.

What were your favorite places in Culver City: Playa del Rey was a big draw, being a reader/detective I spent much time at the public library, liked Wood's around from Mayfair market, Johnnie's Pastrami, most neighborhoods in CC were peaceful and pleasant in the day, had many friends in Inglewood, Hami and Fairfax, spent lot's of time on the Strip, also enjoyed going to movies at the old Culver? theatre downtown, left CC for far flung LA locales after 1966.

Interests: Very broad based, furhter documentation upon request: reading/researching, British crime drama genre, writing, electronics, plumbing, construction, landscaping-gardening, very social-family, friends and strangers, progressive activism on injustice, religious tolerance, politics, etc., investing in our future generations, travelling, exploring, hiking, fishing, boating, how long do you have?

Additional Comments: Interests would probably be considered as broad spectrum as anyone. Florence, Oregon, now? It's like turning the clock back 35-40 years. Not to the 60's, can't be done, but close. My life is like being carried in a chariot of fire, in a whirlwind of serendipity, despite my share of speedbumps from "the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune." My life has been interesting, maybe even fascinating to some. The back nine is, for me, the best part of the course. I enjoy the blessings of good health, strong will and what some term a very "retenive" memory. "Now the days are short (at least shorter), I'm in the autumn of the years, and now I think of my life as vintage wine from fine old kegs, from the brim to the dregs, it poured sweet and clear, it was a very good year."
